Our superintendent pharmacist is Mahyar Saremi MPharm, PGCertPharmPract, IPresc, AFTM RCPS(Glasg), CTH. Mahyar oversees and takes responsibility for the way in which we carry out our professional pharmaceutical activities.
Mahyar is an independent prescriber pharmacist, who is specifically trained to provide travel health consultations.
All of our travel health consultations and private vaccinations (both in-clinic and home visits) have been done by Mahyar in the last 10 years.
He studied pharmacy at Liverpool John Moores University and was trained at Homerton Hospital and subsequently worked as a rotational pharmacist covering a comprehensive range of pharmacy services at Royal Free Hospital.
He has completed the foundation and diploma courses in Travel Medicine with the Faculty of Travel Medicine of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. In addition, Mahyar has passed the International Society of Travel Medicine Certificate of Knowledge Examination.
Mahyar is also the borough lead pharmacist at the NHS North West London Integrated Care Board’s Medicines and Pharmacy Team and their lead formulary pharmacist.
Our regular pharmacist in charge is Jatish Shelat, MPharm. Jatish has always lived locally and is a trusted pharmacist by the community. He has previously worked in several chain and independent pharmacies.
Jatish is an accredited pharmacist for provision of a range of services such as NHS Pharmacy First Scheme, flu and pneumonia vaccinations.
The proprietor is Kamlesh Patel who has been leading Hampstead Heath Pharmacy for the last 43 years. Kamlesh is well-known to both the local community and the healthcare providers for operating a range of high quality pharmacy services.
Karishma Patel is our pharmacy and clinic manager. Karishma is a fully qualified osteopath registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). Karishma is very experienced and knowledgeable in the retail aspects of pharmacy, managing our clinic appointments and skincare products.
