Meet our distinguished Superintendent Pharmacist, Mahyar Saremi, MPharm, PGCert PharmPract, IPresc, AFTM RCPS (Glasg), CTH. A dedicated professional with extensive experience, Mahyar leads our professional services with an unwavering commitment to excellence, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Since qualifying as an independent prescriber in 2012, Mahyar has developed expertise in travel health consultations, private vaccinations, blood testing, and weight management clinics. His patient-centred approach and dedication to well-being make him an invaluable partner in your healthcare journey.
Mahyar began his career at Liverpool John Moores University in 2003 and completed his training at Homerton Hospital. He then expanded his expertise as a rotational pharmacist at the Royal Free Hospital, gaining a broad perspective on patient care. He further honed his skills at Hampstead Heath Pharmacy and served as a Medicines Optimisation Pharmacist with NHS North West London.
As a recognised authority in travel medicine, Mahyar has completed foundational and diploma-level courses with the Faculty of Travel Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He also holds the prestigious Certificate of Knowledge from the International Society of Travel Medicine. His commitment to advancing his expertise is further demonstrated by completing the Core Learning Path with the Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education (SCOPE).
Until May 2024, Mahyar was the Borough Lead Pharmacist for the NHS North West London Integrated Care Board’s Medicines Optimisation Team and Lead Formulary Pharmacist for the North West London Integrated Formulary. These leadership roles reflect his dedication to improving pharmaceutical care at both clinical and systemic levels.

Our pharmacist-in-charge, Jatish Shelat, MPharm, is not just a healthcare professional; he is a pillar of our local community.
With a rich background in both chain and independent pharmacies, Jatish combines extensive knowledge with a commitment to exceptional care. His accreditation to provide essential services, such as the NHS Pharmacy First Scheme, flu, COVID-19 and pneumonia vaccinations, ensures that our community receives top-notch healthcare right at their doorstep.
Hampstead Heath Pharmacy is proudly led by our experienced proprietor, Kamlesh Patel, who has been devoted to serving our community for over 43 years.
His expertise and compassion have earned him high regard among residents and healthcare providers alike. Kamlesh is committed to delivering an outstanding range of pharmacy services, all while emphasising quality and genuine care for every individual who walks through our doors.
We are also fortunate to have Karishma Patel, M.OST as our pharmacy and clinic manager.
A registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), Karishma brings valuable insight into the retail aspects of our pharmacy. She effectively oversees our clinic appointments and thoughtfully curates our selection of skincare products, ensuring that every client enjoys a seamless and professional experience.

Danae Marshall, MSc, Weight Management Clinic Coordinator
Danae holds a master’s degree in neuroscience from King’s College and is dedicated to client-centred care. She oversees client management, ensuring effective scheduling, communication, and a supportive environment to help clients meet their health goals. By integrating her neuroscience expertise, Danae tailors care to individual needs and educates clients on the science behind their actions, promoting lasting behavioural changes for better mental and physical well-being.
